Psychotherapy is provided as a primary form of treatment for personality disorders, which are characterized by maladaptive patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaviour that persist over time. Dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) is used in treating borderline personality disorder, focusing on emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. Cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) targets problematic thinking patterns in disorders such as narcissistic or obsessive-compulsive personality disorder. Psychodynamic therapy explores unconscious conflicts and longstanding patterns in disorders like avoidant or dependent personality disorder.

Psychotherapy involves a collaborative process for an individual experiencing these mental health conditions. It helps individuals to identify and challenge negative thought patterns, explore underlying emotions, and develop coping skills. Psychotherapy has been shown to reduce symptom severity, enhance coping skills, and improve overall functioning in individuals with these mental health disorders.

Psycho-sexology, an interdisciplinary field combining elements of psychology and sexual medicine, focuses on the psychological aspects of human sexuality. This field examines the intersections of biology, psychology, and social factors that influence sexual behaviour, attitudes, and functioning. We evaluate and address sexual dysfunctions, sexual disorders, sexual identity and conflicts through assessment, diagnosis, and therapy to help individuals and couples overcome obstacles that may interfere with their sexual wellness and satisfaction.

I have extended my reach by providing clinical supervision to other psychologists, a role that underscores my contributions to the profession's growth and quality. In this capacity, I engage in a collaborative process that fosters reflective practice, encourages professional development, and enhances clinical skills among emerging practitioners. My supervision style promotes an environment where supervisees can explore their therapeutic relationships, confront their biases, and refine their approach to therapy.
